E-SCOOTERS

Do you know the legalities around E-Scooters, the dangers, and the importance of heeding the warnings around them. There appears to be more younger people riding them totally unaware of any implications of doing so and parents/adults buying them and allowing them to use and using  them also.

Because E- Scooters are legally classified as motor vehicles under the UK ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1988 riding a private E- Scooter in public exposes you to the same road traffic prosecutions as driving a car, including fixed penalty fines, penalty points on a driving licence or a 'ghost licence' if you do not drive yet. The only exception of their use is them being ridden on 'Private Land with the permission of the Land Owner.
